About Paolo
I am Paolo Carasso, based on the coast north of Rome. For years I have looked after cruising sailing yachts of 12 to 16 metres in the marinas between Riva di Traiano and Nettuno — technical assistance, spare parts and management of works with the yards.
I install and service Raymarine electronics, Schenker watermakers and Victron power systems, and I coordinate mechanics, riggers, sailmakers and shipwrights when a job needs a specialist. I speak English, I answer quickly on WhatsApp, and I explain what is wrong, what it will take and what it will cost before any work starts.
If you are ending your season here, I also arrange winter storage ashore or afloat and hand the boat back ready to sail — with Fiumicino and Ciampino airports minutes away.
